Railway lines and bus routes, 2002 |
|
Passenger traffic by train and bus 2002 Work is also in progress on the Botnia line, the resund line and the City tunnel in Malm. Most passenger traffic follows regular timetables, but there are lines which only provide tourist services in the summer season. The longest of these lines is the Inland Railway. To make travelling for passengers easier most of the railway companies use a joint ticket-selling system called Tgplus, which sells tickets for more than 2,000 places as well as tickets for connecting buses and boats. The largest railway companies are SJ and Tgkompaniet. The map does not show railway lines that are used solely for freight or not at all.
