Detailed Plan for Vallentuna |
|
Estate perspectives A plan of this kind may deal with a group of perhaps 20 houses, but also a large estate. It need to be restricted to new buildings but can just as well deal with an area that needs to be cleared or be more densely built up. A detailed plan gives the landowners an opportunity to clarify certain responsibilities they have in common and the public a chance to make their opinions heard. A detailed plan consists of a map (the plan) and a description. The map indicates the constraints on building heights and the like. There are more than 70,000 detailed plans in force in Sweden at present, dating from the late 19th century anwards, many of which are out of date and irrelevant, but stil in force.
